Situated in the North West of Mauritius, the most protected side of the Island in terms of weather conditions, and the most lively, lies a Marine park in a niche in the Turtle Bay of Balaclava at La Plantation Resort. Diving is very easy and dives sites are only accessible via boat, between 5 – 20 minutes towards the Trou Aux Biches area. This is a very famous coast for its abundance of artificial ship wrecks, some of which sunk over 25 years ago, and have contributed vastly to the upgrading of the marine life. There are huge moray eels, schools of goatfishes, and a vast area covered with magnificent hard corals. The coast is also popular for passing Spinner dolphins, which attracts many visitors. But thanks to the wide variety of dive sites within short distances, you can still have your choice of dive sites despite the popularity of the area.
Two tank dives in the morning (09h00) and 1 afternoon dive (13h30), daily. Drinking water is provided on the boat.
